Bonfire Dub will kick off the party. Music will be coupled with an online auction\, raising money for FOTY\, plus special guest appearances and commentaries! This year’s event will be in-person. \n* Tickets include a door prize ticket and one beer.

However\, warming temperatures\, rising snowlines\, and increased drought occurrence and severity pose serious risks to the boreal\, alpine\, and riverine ecosystems of the Yampa River Basin. How are we\, as a community\, observing changes in our water cycle and working to build resilience in the face of those changes? This question will be at the forefront of the 2022 Yampa Basin Rendezvous. This 2-day event will provide an overview of the current state of\, and future planning for\, water resources in the Yampa River Basin. It will also include a discussion of the role of economic\, environmental\, and cultural factors that influence water cycle observations for resource and resiliency planning. SUMMARY:42nd Annual Yampa River Festival
DESCRIPTION:Since 1980\, the Yampa River Festival has been the Friends of the Yampa’s signature event to raise awareness about the wild Yampa River.  As predictable as the snow melting every spring\, this annual River Fest is held the weekend after Memorial Day\, typically on the same weekend as the Steamboat Marathon.  Over the years\, the festival has evolved to include a variety of recreational events in and around the river as well as parties\, fundraisers and speaking functions\, with the main event taking place all day on Saturday.

DESCRIPTION:The flagship event of Friends of the Yampa\, the Yampa River Festival\, is a true hometown celebration of our friend the Yampa River.  This year\, our 41st annual\, we are going to be in person once again! \nIt is with great thanks to all the passionate and dedicated river enthusiasts\, partners\, and supporters that this event continues to be the gem that it is today. For 2021\, the River Fest will still have COVID protocols with some limited access\, reduced and managed spectators maintaining proper social distancing\, reduced number of vendors\, etc\, all in an effort to do our part\, and play within the State and County COVID rules. \nWhile following all the latest safety guidelines\, we hope that our river friends will join us to celebrate this year’s Yampa River Festival on June 4th and 5th\, 2021. The main event is on Saturday\, June 5th.  \nCheck our webpage for details on specific events\, vendors\, guidelines\, and all things Yampa River Festival! Can’t wait to see you all there. \n
