Interpretive Translation of Flows
Dorsey to South Beach
This is a mostly flatwater stretch with the section from Pebble Beach to Loudy-Simpson Park closed for now.

Many times when the flow is this low, the water is too warm and/or fish habitat is very limited. Leave this flow for the fishes.

Not recommended, flows are too low.
Variable depending on water temperature.
600-1,000 cfs (ft3/s)
Not recommended.
Idea small craft conditions.
Possible but flows are low.

1,000-8,000 cfs (ft3/s)
Not recommended.
Not recommended, flows are a little high.
Ideal rafting conditions.
