Speaker Bios

Andy Rossi
Andy Rossi is the general manager of the Upper Yampa Water Conservancy District. Before taking on this leadership role in 2019, Andy worked as a water resources consulting engineer and the UYWCD district engineer. Andy first moved to Steamboat Springs in 2001 and has enjoyed the water resources of the Yampa Valley, both professionally and recreationally, ever since.
“Good Enough For The River
RiverWonderGrass: Pixie & The Partygrass Boys”
Pixie & The Partgrass Boys, an energetic bluegrass band out of Salt Lake City, take a week off their busy summer tour schedule to participate in a 72-mile trip down the Yampa River in Dinosaur National Monument. Joined by a group of concert-patrons-turned-best-friends, the band fills the canyon with songs about their connection with nature, conservation efforts, and deep human connection.

Sawyer Gieseke
Based in Telluride, Colorado, Sawyer Gieseke is a filmmaker and cinematographer drawn to stories rooted in music, landscape, and human connection. Much of his work has developed through the live music world, especially within the bluegrass and folk scenes, where he focuses on immersive, intimate, and experience-driven stories.

Davis Gerber
Davis Gerber is a filmmaker and photographer whose work explores the emotional texture of place and experience. Shaped by a strong background in luxury travel and hospitality storytelling, his cinematic and observational approach creates immersive visual narratives rooted in atmosphere, authenticity, and human connection.
