Youth Fly Fishing Camps
Friends of the Yampa had teamed up with Steamboat Flyfisher to provide a free fly fishing camp for middle school students in the valley. Fly fishing is a great way to spend time on the Yampa River and its many tributaries. Through the camp, we are able to encourage the next generation of outdoor anglers and conservationists.
2025 Youth Fly Fishing Camp

For youth entering 6-8th grade. Space is limited & gear is provided.
A 1 day comprehensive fly fishing camp hosted by our knowledgeable friends at Steamboat Flyfisher. Learn the basics of casting, knots, gear, and bugs.
