Calling all charcoal champs! No dietary restrictions on this river trip!

Sign up for the inaugural Dutch Oven Showdown at the Yampa River Center! We are looking for the river trip meal stars who are ready to strut their stuff in the dutch oven world. (This is not your stovetop or oven dutch oven competition.) LIMIT 7 entrees and 5 desserts.

You will be judged against your peers by top Cafe Diva Chef Kate and members of the Friends of the Yampa staff and board. Trade in a sandy river kitchen for the comfort of solid pavement outside of the Yampa River Center. If eating is more your style, show up to be a judge in the People’s Choice Award!

THE RULES

• DO chefs: $10/meal to enter
• Must provide 20 servings
• Dutch oven chefs must bring charcoal, fire pan, DO tools, dutch oven, ingredients and fire blanket
• Must sign up by Wednesday, Nov 5
• Top winners in each category get a prize!
