The Yampa River Scorecard Project focuses primarily on river health and function. A healthy, functioning river provides regulating and supporting ecosystem services that we all depend upon. It is also important to consider cultural and provisioning ecosystem services when measuring a river. An ecosystem services perspective allows us to better understand how a community benefits from a functioning river, and how members of the community value and use the river. River recreation and fishing are a large part of our local culture. If you recreate or fish on the Yampa River, please fill out this survey to help us assess the quality of the user experience — YOUR river experience!

Yampa Headwaters Fishing Fundraiser and Poker Run
August 2023
The Friends of the Yampa, along with our sponsors, are hosting a Yampa Headwaters Fishing Fundraiser & Poker Run through the month of August 2023. Proceeds raised from this fundraiser will go toward scholarships for youth in the Yampa Valley to learn how to fly fish, and to help further FOTY’s projects and programs, mission and goals.
